19c. French Cloche - Large

Found in France, this stunning 19th c. French cloche was used in a greenhouse to help insulate plants from the harsh Northern winters and promote growth of seedlings in the spring.  These French cloches make lovely tabletop displays, and add an element of texture tucked away in any curated vignette. 

Shown decorated with lotus pods, and a breadboard riser (not included).
