An emotion evoking oil on canvas painting.  A woman is overcome with grief and in the arms of another consoling her.  In the foreground lies a covered table with all the breakfast fittings.  There appears to be a storm brewing outside amongst the heavy tides seen. My imagination makes me think she just received the news her husband was lost at sea. This painting is titled "Hopeless Dawn" and is signed in the lower left.
