French Grave Marker

Approximate Dimensions: 10.5" Wide, 10.75" Tall

Sold individually, these plaques are French and used to commemorate burial sites.  When burial sites were not renewed by the next generation of family, these memorial plaques were removed from sites and begun finding their way into antique markets with religious items.  Each plaque is cast iron and has several mounting holes drilled where it would have been attached to a cross in a French cemetery.
