Cornish Wavy Glass Hutch

Found in a sleepy town in Cornwall, this English Pine hutch has wavy glass and stunning arch detailing.  Cornwall is the southern most part of England, and known for its rugged shores, seaside cliffs, and picturesque views. The inside has two deep shelves with a beadboard backing, finished in a rich emerald green colouring.  The cornice is nice and pronounced, drawing your eye up to appreciate the piece in all its splendor.  The base is a traditional English style, with two shaker style cupboard doors and two spacious dovetailed drawers.  We love the contrast of the dark green paint against the fully waxed finish, and the subtle traditional wooden knob hardware (original).  We date this pieces to the 1880's.
