"Eglantines" French Plate

Approximate Dimensions: 9" Diamater.

Sold individually, these French bone china Eglantines plates date to the 19th century.  Eglantines means "European Rose" or sweetbrier, the thorny, sweet scented rose that is depicted in monochrome on each plate.  Please note, a few of these have a shallow curve, but not pronounced enough to be called a soup bowl.  Each plate does have a makers mark.
