Cornishware Canister Currants

Approximate Dimensions: 4.5" Diameter, 5.5" Height without Lid, 5.75" Height with Lid

No major cracks or chips present. There is a defect on the bottom rim that appears to have happened during manufacture.

Cornishware came about when Thomas Goodwin Green (T.G. Green) bought a small pottery in Church Gresley while on his honeymoon in 1862. Becoming wildly popular in the late 19th century, it wasn't until the 1920's and 30's that the iconic blue and white stripe design came to be and became the brand identity that we know today.
