Cornishware Mug Vtg Church

Approximate Dimensions: 3.5" Diameter, 4.25" Rim to Handle, 2.75" Tall.

Staining and crazing present on all, no major cracks or chips. There is a small chip on the bottom rim of one and another appears to have a well done repair of reattaching the handle.

Cornishware came about when Thomas Goodwin Green (T.G. Green) bought a small pottery in Church Gresley while on his honeymoon in 1862. Becoming wildly popular in the late 19th century, it wasn't until the 1920's and 30's that the iconic blue and white stripe design came to be and became the brand identity that we know today.
