W Hulme "Maine" Platter XL

Approximate Dimensions: 18.25" Long, 13.375" Wide

Made in the 1940's by William Hulme, in Stoke-on-Trent, which later became part of Bourne & Leigh Pottery.  The Maine pattern is a classic blue transferware staple, made specifically in the mid-20th century to revive the Victorian aesthetic.  Free of chips, cracks, or damage; there is minor staining/crazing on the surface.
