Plank Top Pine 3 Drawer Table

Built in the highly sought after 8ft x 3ft size, this Edwardian pine table has three large drawers.  The base is ebonized - a common technique of the working class as a way to mimic the lustrous finish of rich mahogany and walnut pieces.  The top is comprised of four wide planks, and finished with breadboard ends.  Please note, as is common with pine pieces over 100 years old, there is evidence of ancient wood worm on the top.  All of which was double treated, not because it is active, but as a healthy piece of mind.  We personally love the patina and age of the piece.  The front of the apron has three spacious drawers, all of which are as deep as the table is wide.  To allow for this additional storage, the front apron does sit a touch lower than the back apron; please take note of the dimensions above.  The turned post legs have old English casters affixed to bring it to modern day table height.
