French Oyster Shelling Baskets

Used by fishermen off the coast of France, these remarkable oyster shelling baskets are c. 1920.  Each baskets is stackable, with two folding handles.  They vary in color from an off white with red handles, to a soft rustic brown.  Today, we find particle use for them as storage in our home, without losing the ability to display our antiquities.  Please note, dimensions are approximate, as each basket is handmade.
