Virol Advertising Pots, Medium

First produced by chemists at the Bovril factory in London c. 1899, these English stoneware Virol pots were heavily sold to parents as a bone marrow supplement for their children. Production of these pots moved from London to Middlesex around 1920 and production halted entirely around the Second World War.
